Chelsea striker Loic Remy is on the brink of completing a summer switch to Selhurst Park as he prepares to sign for Crystal Palace.
The French striker has dropped down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge this season following the arrival of Michy Batshuayi from Marseille, and has failed to make a single appearance in any of Antonio Conte’s opening squads.
And with just over two days remaining of the transfer window, the 29-year old is close to agreeing a switch to move across London to join up with Alan Pardews Crystal Palace squad.
Pardew has already completed the signing of Christian Benteke in a club record £30million deal, and the addition of Remy should increase the clubs striking options ahead of the remaining 35 Premier League fixtures.
