Chelsea’s search for a new defender this summer saw them searching high and low, before eventually splashing out £30million on David Luiz on deadline day.
However, according to a report in the Daily Mirror, Antonio Conte is still not happy, and could be about to make a move for Uruguay defender Martin Caceres.
The defender is a free agent so is able to sign for any club at any time, and Conte hopes that the addition of Caceres could help.
The defender was released by Juventus at the end of last season following a string of injuries, and Conte is running checks on the defenders fitness before finalising a deal.
