Chelsea’s Player of the Season, Willian, is close to signing a new four year deal at the Stamford Bridge, despite interest from Jose Mourinho at Manchester United.
The Brazilian was the only Chelsea player who could hold his head high last season in what was the worst Premier League title defence ever. The 27 year old scored 11 goals in 46 appearances last season, despite Chelsea only scraping to a tenth placed finish.
His former boss Jose Mourinho had been linked with making a big money move for the Chelsea forward, willing to pay up to £60million to take him to Manchester United.
However, with just two-years to run on his current deal at Stamford Bridge, the Brazilian is now expected to sign a bumper contract extension to keep him at the club for a further four-years
