Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has refused to commit his future to the club.

The Belgium international won the fourth major honour of his Chelsea career yesterday, as his side beat Manchester United 1-0 in the FA Cup final at Wembley.

Despite finishing the season with a winners medal around his neck, it has actually been a less than impressive season for Courtois and his team-mates. The Blues could only manage a fifth placed finish in the Premier League, meaning that they missed out on qualification for next seasons Champions League.

Courtois, who only has one year left on his current contract at Stamford Bridge, has been linked with a move to Real Madrid, and a lack of Champions League football could prove to be the reason that he decides to leave.

Speaking after yesterdays final, the Belgian refused to rule out a move away from the Bridge:

“Like I said in the last weeks or months, I think we’ll see after the World Cup whether I am a Chelsea player for next year,” said Courtois.

“We’ll see what is going to happen after the World Cup.”
