Chelsea star Pedro has hailed the ‘freedom’ that he is being allowed under new Blues boss Maurizio Sarri.
The Stamford Bridge outfit got their pre-season tour of Australia off to a winning start earlier on Monday, defeating A-League side Perth Glory 1-0.
Former Barcelona attacker Pedro scored the winning goal after just five minutes, and although the scoreline was close, the Blues played some excellent attacking football throughout.
Speaking after the game Pedro hailed his sides performance:
“When you move with freedom to go inside or outside, it’s good for me to play in the team,”
“The result is only 1-0 but we created a lot of chances and played very well.
“It’s a pity the final result, but the game is very good.”
