Chelsea star meets with PSG officials over summer move

Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has already met with PSG officials about a summer transfer to the Ligue Un Champions.

RTBF are reporting that the 25-year-old and his father recently held a meeting with representatives of the French club in a London hotel.

The Belgium international has been stalling on signing a contract extension at Stamford Bridge. Courtois has also recently recently declared his desire to live in Madrid as his two children live there, leading to speculation that he may move to Real Madrid, as the Spanish side are looking to replace their current number one Keylor Navas this summer.

The talented ‘keepers relationship with his manager Antonio Conte also seems to have become strained recently, after he publicly blasted his coaches decision to substitute Eden Hazard during the Blues 2-1 defeat to top four rivals Manchester United.

Courtois returned to Chelsea after a successful three season loan spell with Atletico Madrid in 2014. He has won two Premier League titles in his three full seasons at Stamford Bridge, and developed into one of the world’s top goalkeepers, so if he does decide to leave his current club there will be shortage of takers among Europe’s elite sides.
