Chelsea star Willian insists he is not planning on leaving the club, despite reports linking him with Manchester United and Barcelona.
The Brazilian has been in wonderful form in recent weeks, taking a starring role in Chelsea’s midweek fixture against Huddersfield, a game where he was involved in all three of the Blues’ goals.
However, he hasn’t been a regular under Antonio Conte, with Hazard, Morata and Pedro seemingly ahead of him in the pecking order, prompting speculation that he could leave. Former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is thought to be keen on taking the winger to a Old Trafford, while Barcelona have also been linked.
When asked if he is staying at Stamford Bridge, Willian insisted he was happy at the club:
“I am always happy at Chelsea. I really like this club a lot with my heart.
“The fans can be calm [about him leaving]. I am a Chelsea player and I am very pleased with the way I have been playing in recent weeks.
“When I play I always try to do my best. I try to help the team to play well, to score goals and make assists. Against Huddersfield I did that with my team-mates.”
The winger has scored 36 goals in 206 appearances for the Blues, five of which have come this season.
