Chelsea star Eden Hazard has hailed the impact of summer signings Mateo Kovacic and Jorginho.
The Blues beat Bournemouth 2-0 yesterday at Stamford Bridge to maintain their 100% record so far this season, and remain joint top of the Premier League with Liverpool and Watford.
It is a big turn up in form for Chelsea who struggled badly last season under Antonio Conte and finished in a disappointing fifth place, missing out on Champions League qualification.
Hazard believes one of the main reasons for his side’s improvement under new coach Maurizio Sarri has been the summer additions of midfield pair Kovacic and Jorginho.
“It’s not so different (from the past). The big difference is we bring two players – Jorginho and (Mateo) Kovacic – and they are completely different,” Hazard told Chelsea TV.
“We just try to keep the ball more often and then when we have a chance to score, we need to score.
“But when we have more ball we can be more dangerous. We’re playing good football, so we enjoy. I want to keep this momentum.”
