Chelsea have told any potential suitors for Alvaro Morata that they must pay £62 million for his services, according to reports.
Morata only moved to Chelsea last summer, making a £57 million move from Real Madrid.
However, despite starting the season in good form, it’s fair to say that his first year in the Premier League was a bit of a disaster, scoring just 11 goals in 31 league appearances.
After just one season in England, reports have suggested that Chelsea could be ready to offload the Spaniard, with his former club Juventus, as well as AC Milan thought to be interested.
However, despite his struggles on the pitch, Chelsea are not prepared let the striker leave on the cheap, with Sky Sports reporting that the Blues have slapped a £62 million price tag on the head of the 25-year-old.
They claim that AC Milan have now opened talks regarding a potential transfer, with Morata already proving himself to be a hit over in Serie A, during a two year spell at Juventus between 2014-2016.
Chelsea have been linked with Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain in recent weeks, who is thought to be open to reuniting with Maurizio Sarri, who he enjoyed two successful seasons working with during his time at Napoli.
