Chelsea are set to rekindle their interest in Juventus full back Alex Sandro in January according to reports.
The reigning Premier League champions were heavily linked with making a move for the Brazilian in the summer as Antonio Conte desperately looked to add new full backs to his squad.
However, they were unable to complete a deal with Serie A Champions Juventus refusing to to business.
However, according to Transfer Market Web, Chelsea will rekindle their interest in Alex Sandro when the transfer market reopens in January and will hope they can get their man at the second time of asking.
However, the report also claims that Juventus will be reluctant to allow Sandro to leave in the middle of the season, even if Chelsea were to offer €60m. That fee would match the current world record for a full back which was set when Manchester City signed Benjamin Mendy from Monaco.
Chelsea did eventually sign a new full back in the the summer, with Davide Zappacosta making a deadline Day move to Stamford Bridge from Juventus’ Turin based rivals, Torino.
