Chelsea ready to splash £140million on transfer trio

With just two weeks to go until the transfer window slams shut, Chelsea are ready to splash the cash with a trio of transfers being linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.

The Sun on Sunday claims that Antonio Conte is preparing to spend up to £140million in the remaining two weeks of the transfer window that would take them to being one of the top spending clubs in the Premier League.

Chelsea have already spent £63million this summer on Michy Batshuayi and N’Golo Kante, but the summer business is far from over.

The Blues interest in their former striker Romelu Lukaku is far from a secret, with Everton holding out for £75million whilst Chelsea have so far refused to meet that asking price so far.

Chelsea are also keen on strengthening their defensive ranks, and have already made a move for Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly, whilst they are also interested in move for Santos midfielder Thiago Maia, who is also interesting Manchester United.

Patrick Bamford is a target for Aston Villa whilst Brazilian forward Kenedy is close to securing a move to Watford
