The praise just keeps on coming for Naby Keita, with former Chelsea hardman Dennis Wise the latest to sing his praises.
The Guinean midfielder has finally made his long-awaited move to Liverpool this summer after the Reds failed to sign him from RB Leipzig 12 months ago.
He made his Premier League debut on Sunday, as Liverpool comfortably dispatched of West Ham United at Anfield, with Keita taking up a starring role in the centre of midfield.
Former Chelsea midfielder Dennis Wise, who knows all about being a combative midfielder, has sung the praises of the 23-year-old, likening him to a more offensive version of Chelsea’s own midfield dynamo, N’Golo Kante:
“Naby Keita was outstanding,” Wise told Sky Sports.
“He’s like an offensive N’Golo Kante going forward, breaking things up and getting on the end of things and making incisive passes.
“Klopp had to wait a year for him and couldn’t wait to get him in the building and I can see why.”
