Chelsea join race for free agent Fulham defender

Chelsea have entered the race to sign Tosin Adarabioyo on a free transfer from Fulham this summer.

Adarabioyo has informed Fulham that he will not sign a new contract with the club and will depart Craven Cottage as a free agent at the end of the campaign. The defender’s availability on a Bosman has attracted interest from a long list of Premier League rivals, with Newcastle understood to be leading the chase for the 26-year-old.


Liverpool, Spurs and West Ham have also been linked with Adarabioyo, who has made 129 appearances for the Cottagers since arriving from Manchester City in 2020.

Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Chelsea are also informed on the conditions of a potential deal and the Blues could offer Adarabioyo a deal to remain in west London.
