Chelsea have joined Liverpool and Manchester City in the race to sign Arsenal’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

The England international has just one-year remaining on his current deal at the Emirates and has been linked to signing a new deal.

However Arsenal have been slow to agree terms which has given hope to a whole host of chasing clubs.

Liverpool and Man City have long been known to have an interest, and according to Sky Sports News, Chelsea have now joined the race for the versatile player.

He can play as both a central midfielder, a winger or more recently as a wing-back, something which interests Antonio Conte.

Conte has been using Victor Moses as his first choice wing-back last season, but with the rigours of Champions League football to come for the Blues, the Italian wants to beef up his squad.

All three of the interested clubs can offer Oxlade-Chamberlain Champions League football, something Arsenal do not have ahead of them this season.
