Chelsea’s Hazard hints at Real Madrid transfer yet again

Chelsea attacker Eden Hazard has once again hinted at his desire to join Spanish giants Real Madrid.

The Belgium international has been heavily linked with a move to the Bernabeu over the last 18 months and the 28-year-old has openly admitted that he’s always dreamed of playing for Los Blancos.

However, when asked about a move to Real, Hazard did also admit that he hasn’t ruled out the possibility of staying at Chelsea:

”Why not? You know it very well. You’re asking the question, but you know what the answer will be so you don’t have to ask it.” Hazard told France Football.

“I’ve won everything in England, apart from the Community Shield, but that doesn’t mean I’m leaving. I’ve always said that I wanted to explore something different after England but there are also things that might make me stay.

“After the World Cup, I wanted to leave, but in the end I stayed at Chelsea and I’m playing one of the best seasons so far.”

Hazard’s contract with Chelsea runs until the summer of 2020, and the Stamford Bridge outfits attempts to get him to sign an extension and commit his future to the club have so far been unsuccessful.
