Chelsea have emerged as the front-runners to bring Borussia Dortmund’s Christian Pulisic to the Premier League.
The US international has long been linked with a switch to English football, with Pulisic describing the Premier League as “a league where lots of kids dream of playing”.
Speculation of a move has intensified after the 20-year-old fell down the pecking order following Jadon Sancho’s emergence at The Westfalenstadion.
According to reports in The Guardian Chelsea have stolen a march on their Premier League rivals in a bid to sign Pulisic, who is said to be open to a move to England.
Pulisic has previously been linked to the likes of Manchester United and Tottenham, whilst Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has often been credited with an interest in bringing the American to Anfield having worked with a teenage Pulisic during his time in charge of Dortmund.
