Eden Hazard has once again fluttered his eyelids in the direction of Real Madrid by admitting he ‘loves’ the European champions.
It has been one of footballs long running transfer sagas, with Hazard being repeatedly linked with a move to the Bernabeu for a good couple of years now, and the Belgian has been discussing his current situation at Chelsea.
The forward has said that while he feels at home in London, he doesn’t want to have any regrets when he eventually hangs up his boots.
“The new coach [Sarri] thinks football like me, so we’ll see, the family is in London, I’m also going to be 28,” Hazard told RMC.
“I do not want to have any regrets at the end of my it’s a decision I’m going to make, I do not know when, but I’ll take it.”
However, when pressed about the interest from the the Spanish giants, he has once again expressed his love for Los Blancos.
“Me, you know me, I’ve always loved Real, even before [Zinedine] Zidane, we’ll see what happens,” he added.
“As I said, I’m already finishing this year with Chelsea, I still have a year of contract after this year, we’ll see.”
There was talk last month that Chelsea were keen to tie the star down to a new long-term deal to make him the most highly paid player in the Premier League, but worryingly perhaps for Blues fans, he has revealed that those talks have stopped.
“There was a bit of talk [with Chelsea about a new contract] but then it stopped, now we’re waiting.”
