Chelsea have moved a step closer to completing their fourth summer signing after agreed a fee with Arsenal for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
This is according to Sky Sports, who claim have broken the news that the Premier League champions have agreed a £35m fee with the Gunners for the England international.
Oxlade-Chamberlain featured for the Gunners in Sunday’s 4-0 humiliation at the hands of Liverpool, a game that now looks to be his last for the club.
‘The Ox’ only has one year left on his current deal and recently rejected a new deal at the Emirates, thought to be worth in the region of £180,000-a-week as he looks to force his way out of the club.
He looks to have got his wish after Arsenal’s agreement to complete the deal.
