Chelsea have broken the record for the most money received through player sales in one transfer window.
The West London side were the second largest spenders in the Premier League this summer, with their purchases including a £117m club-record deal for Morgan Rogers. However, Chelsea bankrolled their summer business through sales, ending the 2026 window in profit.
According to Transfermarkt, the money recouped by Chelsea in the 2026 summer window represents a record for a club in a single window. The Blues received more than £400m from player sales.
The biggest sale was Enzo Fernandez’s £125m move to Manchester City on transfer deadline day, in a deal that equalled the British transfer record. Chelsea also brought in big fees for Nicolas Jackson (£65m), Marc Cucurella (£51.8m), Liam Delap (£45m) and Andrey Santos (£50m), among others.
