Chelsea and Manchester United midfield target Radja Nainggolan has today joined Inter Milan from fellow Serie A side AS Roma.
The highly rated 30-year-old was valued at £33 million by Roma although Inter will instead pay £21 million, and allow defender Davide Santon and midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo to move in the other direction.
Nainggolan has won plenty of admirers in recent seasons for his all action displays at the heart of Roma’s midfield, and he has reportedly been on the radar of several Premier League managers.
He came very close to joining up with Antonio Conte at Chelsea last summer, but instead decided to stay in Italy, where he went on to reach the Champions League semi-final with Roma eventually being eliminated by Liverpool.
Nainggolan is a colourful character both on and off the pitch, and was controversially left out of Belgium’s squad for this summers World Cup for what Roberto Martinez described as ‘’tactical reasons,’’ although most observers expect it was more likely due to his love of a party.
It’s official! 📣✍@OfficialRadja
