The group stages are over and we are already getting set for the business end of the Champions League, with the draw for the last 16 taking place.
Four Premier League sides went into the group stages, with all four managing to navigate their way to the knockout stages in one way or another.
Incredibly, despite their struggles, Manchester United were one of the first to make it through their group, finishing second behind Italian giants Juventus, aided by a famous last-gasp victory in Turin.
Man City also made it through to the knockout rounds with a game to spare, and their victory over Hoffenheim on matchday six meant that they were the only English club to top their group.
Meanwhile, last season’s beaten finalists Liverpool relied on a 90th minute save from goalkeeper Alisson to secure their passage to the knockout stages, while Mauricio Pochettino’s Spurs side went through by the skin of their teeth thanks to Inter Milan’s failure to beat PSV combined with Tottenham’s 1-1 draw in the Nou Camp.
Having finished second in their groups, United, Liverpool and Spurs faced the toughest prospect in the draw, with the likes of Real Madrid, PSG, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Juventus among the list of potential opponents.
