Celtic host Roma in an important Europa League clash this evening with both teams pushing for qualification to the knockout rounds.
The Scottish champions are currently 21st in the standings ahead of matchday six, having taken seven points from their first five fixtures.
Celtic are now under the management of Wilfried Nancy, whose reign got off to a poor start after losing to title rivals Hearts at the weekend. The Frenchman, who arrives in Glasgow after an impressive spell in MLS, faces a tough test tonight with Roma the visitors to Parkhead.
This will be Roma’s second visit to Scotland this season, after winning 2-0 at Rangers last month.
Celtic vs Roma – Predicted lineup and team news
Celtic team news
Despite the defeat to Hearts, Nancy is expected to again lineup in his 3-4-2-1 system as the Frenchman looks to make his mark at Celtic. Cameron Carter-Vickers, who would likely form part of the back three, remains a long-term absentee.
Elsewhere, Alistair Johnston, Callum Osmand and Marcelo Saracchi all remain unavailable, as does James Forrest despite a recent return to training.
Celtic came from behind to win 3-1 at Feyenoord in their last European fixture. Nancy will require much of that fighting spirit to earn a result this evening.
Celtic predicted lineup
Celtic predicted XI: Schmeichel; Trusty, Scales, Tierney; Yang, McGregor, Engels, Tounekti; Nygren, Hatate; Maeda.
