Jamie Carragher believes Jurgen Klopp is the perfect fit as Liverpool manager.
The German has turned Liverpool into title contenders this season, with the Merseyside club currently top of the Premier League heading into the international break.
Former Liverpool defender Carragher, who made 737 appearances for the club, believes Klopp is the ideal manager to take the club forward.
‘He’s suited firstly because he’s a top manager. There’s no doubt about that. Then there’s his personality, his passion on the sidelines resonates with Liverpool supporters.’

‘Liverpool people have just taken to him. How long that love affair lasts? It depends on how successful the club are.
‘There are a lot of top managers in the world. I’m not saying Jurgen Klopp is the best manager in the world, by a long stretch, but what I would say is I don’t think any manager is a better fit for Liverpool than Jurgen Klopp is.’
