The draw for the Carabao Cup semi-finals has been made, as the four remaining teams compete for a place at Wembley.
Liverpool are looking to win a record-extending 10th League Cup title this season and booked their place in the last four with an emphatic 5-1 win over West Ham United at Anfield.
The Reds – who last won this competition as part of a domestic double in 2021/22 – will face Fulham over two legs in the semi-finals.
This season will be the last to have two-legged Carabao Cup semi-finals and the first fixture will be played at Anfield, before a return leg at Craven Cottage.
The other semi-final tie will see Chelsea take on Middlesbrough. The West Londoners beat Newcastle on penalties to reach this stage, while Michael Carrick’s ‘Boro are the last remaining Championship side in the competition.
The North East outfit eased to a 3-0 win over Port Vale in the quarter-finals to reach a first semi-final since winning the League Cup in 2004.
