It’s seems it’s not just managers and players that are set for big money moves this summer, but also some of the Premier League biggest pundits.
BT Sport has won many admirers in recent seasons for their excellent EPL and Champions League coverage, which features top insight from ex pro’s like Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard and Rio Ferdinand.
However, with Gerrard having taken over as Rangers manager and Frank Lampard set to become Derby boss in the coming days, the television network is about to lose two of it’s best pundits.
BT are aiming to fill this void by offering a contract to former Manchester United manager Roy Keane who is currently working with ITV, as well as being the assistant manager of the Republic of Ireland.
Keane is never afraid to speak his mind and while he can be a divisive character – much like he was as a player – the 46-year-old does make for excellent TV with his at times brutally blunt analysis.
