Brighton & Hove Albion host Nottingham Forest at the Amex Stadium on Sunday, aiming to secure successive Premier League victories and all but confirm their top-flight safety.

The Seagulls have moved into a more comfortable position following a disciplined 2–0 win over Brentford last time out. Manager Fabian Hürzeler oversaw a performance that combined defensive solidity with clinical finishing, and his side now has the opportunity to complete a league double over a Forest team they beat 2–0 in November. Notably, Brighton have kept clean sheets in each of their last three Premier League victories.

Brighton Team News

Fabian Hürzeler manages a squad nearing full health at a critical juncture of the season. Notably, James Milner has been passed fit after a minor thigh scare and is set to continue his record-breaking campaign. Consequently, the veteran is expected to feature in a midfield that has provided the platform for Brighton’s recent improvement. Danny Welbeck is looking to score his 10th league goal of the season, a feat that would see him become only the eighth player aged 33 or older to hit double figures in consecutive Premier League seasons.

Bart Verbruggen will start in goal behind a defensive line featuring Jan Paul van Hecke and captain Lewis Dunk. In midfield, Carlos Baleba and Pascal Groß are expected to anchor the side, with Jack Hinshelwood continuing his impressive run. Diego Gómez and Kaoru Mitoma will provide the threat from wide areas, supporting Danny Welbeck in attack. Notably, Gómez has been prolific this season with nine goals in all competitions, though seven of those have come away from the Amex Stadium.

Brighton Predicted Lineup

Brighton predicted XI (4-3-3): Verbruggen; Wieffer, Van Hecke, Dunk, Kadioglu; Hinshelwood, Baleba, Gross; Gomez, Welbeck, Mitoma
