Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has been involved in a car crash while on vacation in Amsterdam.
While the Argentinian’s life was thankfully not threatened in the incident, he is reported to have suffered a fracture to his rib. Generally, comparable injuries keep athletes on the sidelines for 1-2 months.
This is a huge development ahead of the Chelsea clash on Saturday night. The striker was in searing form, and should be sorely missed by fans and teammates. Luckily, other attacking threats are also in top form currently, and will be expected to pick up the slack caused by Kun’s absence.
As of now, there are no reports describing a life threatening injury for him or other parties of the crash. City fans, and football fans in general, can send only their best wishes to Sergio.
Aguero currently has 176 goals for Manchester City, one goal shy of equalling the all time club record.
