Liverpool have agreed a £35 million fee for Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Premier League champions Chelsea looked to be in the driving seat to sign ‘The Ox’ just 24 hours ago, but in major developments overnight, the midfielder sensationally rejected the move to Stamford Bridge.
The midfielder has rejected a new £180,000-a-week deal at the Emirates and looks to have successfully forced his way out of Arsenal.
The England international still needs to complete a medical and finalise personal terms, which are believed to be on a six year deal. The medical can be completed at Englands St George’s Park training facility, before the deal will be completed before Thursday’s 11pm deadline.
