Southampton forward Sadio Mane will head to Merseyside on Monday to complete a medical with Liverpool after the clubs agreed a £30million transfer.
The move to take Mane to Liverpool can finally progress, after Southampton dropped their asking price for the Senegalese forward, after initially demanding £40million.
However, after compromising on the transfer fee, the 24-year will now complete his medical and finalise terms with the Anfield club before signing on the dotted line.
Mane has scored 25 goals in 75 Premier League appearances for Southampton, since his transfer from Red Bull Salzburg in 2013.
Jurgen Klopp turned his attention to the Southampton forward after failing in an attempt to bring Bayern Munich forward Mario Gotze to the club.
Mane will become the fifth player to move from Southampton to Liverpool in recent years, following in the footsteps of Rickie Lambert, Adam Lallana, Nathaniel Clyne and Dejan Lovren.
