Brazil vs Tunisia – Predicted lineup and team news

Brazil is set to face Tunisia in a friendly clash at Stade Pierre-Mauroy in Lille this Tuesday, as both teams gear up for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The Seleção come into the match buoyed by a solid 2-0 win over Senegal last Saturday. Meanwhile, Tunisia are on a four-game unbeaten streak.

Brazil team news

Head coach Carlo Ancelotti’s squad boasts plenty of attacking talent, although he is expected to shuffle his lineup following the recent victory over Senegal. Defensively, Brazil face a setback as Arsenal’s Gabriel Magalhães limped off with an adductor injury in the 64th minute against Senegal and is unlikely to feature against Tunisia while he recovers.

Neymar remains sidelined due to ongoing injury concerns. Despite being Brazil’s top scorer historically, the 33-year-old hasn’t appeared for the national side since returning from an ACL injury and has recently been out for nearly seven weeks with a muscular issue. Nonetheless, Ancelotti continues to nurture young prospects, especially 18-year-old Estêvão Willian, whose stunning goal against Senegal has marked him as one to watch for the upcoming World Cup.

Midfielder Casemiro continued his fine form this season, showing renewed vigor with a goal against Senegal. Additionally, Paris Saint-Germain’s captain Marquinhos has rejoined the squad after recovering from injury.
