Bournemouth travel to St. James’ Park on Saturday for their next Premier League match as they face Newcastle United away from home.

AFC Bournemouth has had a competitive yet frustrating start to life under Marco Rose. The Cherries have shown flashes of brilliance but are plagued by a costly habit of conceding late goals. They opened their league season by taking the lead at Manchester City before collapsing to lose 2-1. A similar story unfolded last weekend, as they conceded a stoppage-time equaliser to draw 1-1 with Everton, leaving them winless.

Bournemouth team news

AFC Bournemouth travels to Tyneside with a settled squad, as manager Marco Rose confirmed no fresh injury concerns following their recent training sessions.

However, the Cherries are still missing four key first-team players who remain sidelined with longer-term issues. Eli Junior Kroupi (foot) and Julian Araujo (thigh) are both facing extended rehabilitation periods and are not expected to return to action until November.

Meanwhile, Amine Adli (calf) and Veljko Milosavljevic (knee) remain unavailable for selection.

In a positive development, United States international Tyler Adams is match-fit and actively pushing for a spot in the starting eleven after successfully building up his sharpness through recent appearances off the bench.

Marco Rose is expected to deploy a starting lineup featuring Djordje Petrovic in goal, a defensive line of Adam Smith, António Silva, James Hill, and Adrien Truffert, a midfield pivot of Lewis Cook and Alex Scott, with Rayan, Justin Kluivert, and Marcus Tavernier supporting central striker Francisco Evanilson.
