Borussia Dortmund are eyeing Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha as a potential replacement for Christian Pulisic, who will move to Chelsea in the summer.

The USA international signed a deal with the Blues earlier this month, although has been loaned back to the Bundesliga side for the rest of the season, before finally joining up with his new teammates at Stamford Bridge in the summer.

The 20-year-old has only started five games for Borussia Dortmund this season, scoring one goal and providing two assists, as English youngster Jadon Sancho continues to sparkle for the German league leaders.

Despite Pulisic no longer being a first-team regular at the Westfalenstadion, reports in Germany claim that BVB are still keen to sign a replacement, with Bild saying that Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha is one of their main targets alongside Borussia Monchengladbach’s Thorgan Hazard, the brother of Chelsea star, Eden.

Having flopped during his time at Manchester United, Zaha has restored his confidence since returning to Selhurst Park in 2015 and has been a vital player for the Eagles, who have often struggled in his absence.

The 26-year-old Ivory Coast international has scored three goals and provided two assists so far this season.
