Arsenal have been dealt a blow in their transfer plans as one of their targets has completed a deal to join Monaco.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger made a bid to bring full back Djibril Sidibe as he looks to strengthen his defensive options.
However, the Frenchman snubbed the opportunity to move to the Emirates, preferring to stay in his homeland, and completing and transfer to AS Monaco.
The defender has signed a 5-year deal with the French Principality club.
