Hector Bellerin has said he is ‘very happy’ at Arsenal, despite reports in recent months linking him with a move away.
Despite signing a six-and-a-half year contract back in 2016, the Arsenal full-back has repeatedly been linked with an Emirates exit, and has reportedly attracted attention from both Manchester United and Juventus over the last few months.
However, the 23-year-old has moved to quash speculation about a potential move away from the North London club:
“It is crazy that people ask me these questions all the time,” Bellerin told Sky Sports News.
“A few years ago I signed a very long-term contract. I have never said that I have wanted to be anywhere else.
“I am very happy in London. I am very happy at this club.
“The club have made me who I am and gave me the chance to be the footballer I am today. So I don’t want to be anywhere else.”
The Spaniard has been handed the number two shirt by the Gunners this summer, but faces increased competition for game time, with new Arsenal boss Unai Emery signing experienced Swiss full-back Stephan Lichtsteiner.
