Bayern Munich are open to offers for Joao Palhinha this summer but are not actively pushing for a sale.
Palhinha has struggled to make an impact since his £47.4m move to Bayern from Fulham last summer. The Portugal international has totalled just six starts and 658 minutes of league action for Bayern Munich this season.
His struggle for status has led to links with an exit and Bayern will listen to potential offers. Prior to his move to the Bundesliga, Palhinha starred during two seasons in the Premier League at Fulham, where he led Europe’s top five leagues for tackles in 2022/23 and 2023/24.

He was named Fulham Player of the Season during the first of those campaigns and attracted interest from Premier League rivals before his move to Germany.
Sky Germany are reporting that there is transfer interest from England in Palhinha, though the 29-year-old is not currently planning to leave Munich. He remains determined to win the trust of Vincent Kompany and does not plan to hold transfer talks at this stage.
However, Bayern are looking to recoup funds for their transfer business and would be open to his sale for the right fee. Palhinha, Kim Min-jae and Kingsley Coman could all depart and each have attracted Premier League interest.
