Bayern Munich have ‘no intention’ of selling Liverpool target

Bayern Munich have ‘no intention’ of negotiating a deal for Ryan Gravenberch despite interest from Liverpool in the midfielder.

Liverpool are understood to have made an approach to Gravenberch’s agent to gauge interest on a potential move to the Premier League, with the 20-year-old having struggled for regular first-team football since signing for Bayern last summer.

Gravenberch signed for Bayern from Ajax in a deal worth around €23m, but the midfielder has made just three starts in all competitions and has featured for just 334 minutes in the Bundesliga.

Fabrizio Romano is reporting that the Dutch international ‘wants to play more’ after a frustrating first season in Munich, but Bayern are keen to keep Gravenberch and have no intention of discussing a sale.

Sky Sports Germany have revealed that Arsenal are also keeping tabs on his situation, but Bayern’s stance remains clear that Gravenberch is not for sale.

Liverpool also remain interested in a deal to sign Mason Mount from Chelsea with the England international a ‘priority’ for the club’s recruitment team this summer.

Mount will enter the final 12 months of his deal in west London at the end of the season and has failed to agree terms on an extension.
