Bayern Munich agree personal terms with Harry Kane

Bayern Munich have reached an agreement on personal terms with Harry Kane ahead of a potential transfer.

Bayern are pursuing a deal to sign the Tottenham forward and have seen an opening bid worth €70m plus add-ons turned down for the 29-year-old.

Kane is understood to be open to the move to the Bundesliga champions as he chases elusive silverware and BILD Sport are reporting that the England captain’s representatives have reached an agreement with Bayern on personal terms.

Bayern will now look to agree a fee with Spurs for Kane, who the north Londoners value at around €100m. Kane has just a year to run on his current contract however, and Spurs run the risk of losing the club’s record goalscorer on a free transfer next summer if an extension, or sale, is not agreed.

Bayern have made Kane their leading transfer target for the summer window as the Bavarians look to bring in a recognised centre-forward, following the departure of Robert Lewandowski to Barcelona last summer.

The German champions suffered a disappointing Champions League exit to Manchester City in 2022/23 and view Kane as an ideal option to spearhead their challenge next season.

Kane has scored 280 goals in 485 appearances for Spurs and scored 30 times in the Premier League last season.
