Barcelona midfielder Sergi Roberto is claimed to be open to a move to Manchester United according to reports in Spain.
Diario Gol claim that the 25-year-old is a big admirer of United boss José Mourinho, who has already been in touch with a midfielder regarding a potential move.
Roberto started 39 games for the Catalans last season, scoring once and provided six assists, but is wanting clarification from new Barca boss Ernesto Valverde to know if he will get regular game time next season.
The report claims that if Valverde cannot give him the guarantees that he wants, the player has no hesitations to move to Old Trafford this summer.
The midfielder, who has made three appearances for Spain, can play as either a central defensive midfielder or as a right back, a position in which he played in for the majority of last season.
Should he decide to leave Barcelona, he would become Manchester United’s fourth summer signing, following Victor Lindelof, Romelu Lukaku and Nemanja Matic through the Old Trafford entrance.
He has two years left on his current deal at the Nou Camp, which contains a €40m buyout clause, and has also attracted interest from Chelsea.
