Mario Balotelli has spoken to Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho ahead of a summer transfer.
The Liverpool striker played under Mourinho at Inter Milan, and has spoken to former manager to ask for career advice.
It is believed that Mourinho told the Italian to change his attitude as well as lower his wage demands in order to secure a summer transfer, although Mourinho would not be able to offer him a transfer to Manchester United.
Balotelli is not part of Jurgen Klopp’s plans at Liverpool, whilst his loan spell at AC Milan last season was also deemed to be unsuccessful after scoring just one goal.
A number of clubs are still interested in signing the former Manchester City striker, including Chievo, Sampdoria, Besiktas and Ajax, although no official bids have been placed so far with just two weeks remaining until transfer deadline day.
It has been previously reported that Liverpool could terminate the strikes contract if a buyer cannot be found this summer.
