Real Madrid could be ready to cash in on Gareth Bale after losing patience with the Welshman. The 28-year-olds career has been blighted by injuries over the last few seasons, and according to reports today, Real Madrid could be ready to finally say ‘Adios’.
Bale has picked up yet another injury, this time to his thigh, which is likely to keep him out for the rest of the calendar year.
Now, according to the Mirror, Los Blancos are now ready to consider offers for the former world record signing.
The European champions are wanting to recoup almost the full amount that they paid, with an £85m price tag being speculated, with three Premier League clubs believed to be interested.
Manchester United have had a long standing interest in Bale, stretching back even before his move to the Bernabeu. Jose Mourinho publicly courted the winger this summer, but he was told he was not for sale.
Chelsea are also believed to be interested in signing him, as are his former club, Tottenham.
Spurs are preparing to move back to their new stadium at White Hart Lane next season, and a big money signing would put the club even more firmly on the map.
One worry for the North London club is that Real Madrid would be demand Harry Kane as part of the deal. One potential option for Spurs would be to ask for Karim Benzema and Bale to move to the Premier League in exchange for the England striker.
