Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas says he would prefer to sell Manchester United and Manchester City target Tanguy Ndombele to Juventus this summer, providing all offers are equal.
The French international is attracting interest from several of Europe’s biggest clubs, with the Manchester duo likely to face competition from the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid and Juventus for the 22-year-old’s signature.
The midfielder has made a huge impact since arriving from Amiens in 2017, with Lyon reportedly putting a price tag of €100m on the player.
With interest set to be high this summer, the club’s president Aulas has said his personal preference would be for the player to move to Turin.
“Are Juventus after Ndombele? Yes it’s true. But PSG are also there, Manchester United and City too,” Aulas said.
“Honestly, I would like to see Ndombele at Juventus with [Miralem] Pjanic, a player that broke out at Lyon and a player I am still very attached to.
“We will see what happens.”
Whilst Aulas says finances will ultimately determine Ndombele’s future, he repeated his desire for the young star to move to Serie A.
“In the sale of a player, the economic parameters are the priority.
“But if offers are equal, I would offer him to [Juventus president] Andrea Agnelli.”
