Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has urged his teammates to maintain their winning mentality after they put five past Fulham at Craven Cottage.
Arsenal extended their winning run to nine games on the spin against the Premier League new boys, with Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang both netting a brace either side of a cute Aaron Ramsey finish.
There have been many critics of the Gunners performances in recent weeks, with their defensive fragility coming under plenty of scrutiny in the media, but Unai Emery’s side keep finding a way to win, and they are the form side in the Premier League.
Speaking after the game, two-goal hero Aubameyang urged his side to maintain their momentum by keeping their winning mentality.
“We played very well, but we knew that Fulham play good football and would try to hit us on the counter-attack,” the Gabon international told BT Sport.
“The team played well and when I came on I knew I needed to make a difference and I did it.
“Now we have to keep this mentality. We will try to keep focus and continue to win games.”
