Aston Villa are willing to sell Tammy Abraham this summer after just six months at the club.
Abraham rejoined Villa from Besiktas in the January transfer window but has struggled to earn regular minutes. The 28-year-old made only two Premier League starts, with a further eight appearances from the bench, and scored twice.
He made a further three appearances in Europe, as Villa won the Europa League. In the process, Abraham became the first-ever player to have won each of Europe’s current three UEFA club competitions. He also lifted the Champions League with Chelsea in 2021 and the Europa Conference League with Roma in 2022.
Unai Emery is now ready to let Abraham leave with The Athletic reporting that Aston Villa are considering a centre-forward overhaul.
Offers will be listened to for ex-Chelsea striker Abraham, while Ollie Watkins has interest from the Premier League and Fenerbahce. Watkins has two years to run on his deal at Villa Park.
Aston Villa have held talks with Chelsea for Nicolas Jackson, who worked with Emery at former club Villarreal. However, any deal would need to be a permanent transfer, following the loan arrival of Alejandro Garnacho from Chelsea. Clubs are permitted to have only one loan player from the same Premier League rival.
