Arsenal target Bundesliga and La Liga superstars

Arsene Wengers search for a striker this summer has been a fruitless task, but claims today suggest that he may not sign anyone unless they are one of the games biggest stars.

Wenger is desperate for a new striker and has reportedly been pursuing deals for Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette and Inter Milan hitman Mauro Icardi.

However reports today suggest that Wenger only wants one of the games finest talents to join Arsenal, with Robert Lewandowski and Antoine Griezmann on his list of targets.

With the way the transfer market is shaping up this summer, a move for either player would cost £70million upwards. Griezmann has a €100million (£86m) release clause in his contract, which is very close to the World Record set by Manchester United last week for Paul Pogba.

However, it might not be as easy as just paying the money, neither Bayern Munich nor Atletico Madrid want to sell the players, who are both believed to be happy at their respective clubs.
