Arsenal, Liverpool and Man Utd monitor James Rodriguez situation

Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United are all reportedly interested in bringing Colombia star James Rodriguez to the Premier League.

Rodriguez has opted against staying with Bayern Munich, having spent the last two seasons on-loan from Real Madrid at the Bundesliga side.

Bayern had the option to purchase the 27-year-old for a fee of £37m, however, according to Sky Deutschland, the playmaker has decided against moving to Germany on a permanent basis having failed to fully settle in Munich.

Rodriguez will instead return to Madrid, even though he is not part of manager Zinedine Zidane’s plans as he looks to rebuild his squad at the Bernabeu following a disappointing season in the Spanish capital.

According to The Mirror, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United are all monitoring his situation as they plot moves to bring Rodriguez to Premier League.

The trio are likely to face stern competition for his signature, with Italian giants Juventus and French champions Paris Saint-Germain also interested.
