Arsenal are interested in a deal to sign Borussia Dortmund teenager Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, following his impressive emergence in the Bundesliga.
Bynoe-Gittens broke into the Dortmund team on a regular basis last season and has since scored three goals in 25 senior appearances.
The 19-year-old signed for the German club after leaving Manchester City’s academy in 2020 and is the latest English talent to have developed at the Westfalenstadion.
According to Spanish publication Fichajes, Arsenal are keen on a deal to sign the winger and the club are hopeful of reaching an agreement with Dortmund for a fee in the region of £26m.
Dortmund have had success in acquiring emerging talent from England before selling on for big fees, with Jadon Sancho and Jude Bellingham having joined the club as teenagers before moving on to Manchester United and Real Madrid respectively.
Bynoe-Gittens – who formed part of the England u-19 side that won the UEFA European Under-19 Championship in 2022 – was born in London and previously had spells in the youth systems of Reading and Chelsea.
