Arsenal reportedly expect Kai Havertz to return from injury before the end of the season to help them in their bid to win the Premier League title.Â
The Germany international played a key in role the Gunners’ 1-0 win over Newcastle United at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday, teeing up Eberechi Eze for the winner.
The 26-year-old was forced off in the first half of the game after pulling up with a muscular injury in his upper right leg and had to be replaced by Viktor Gyokeres in the 34th minute.

There were fears that Havertz would miss the final four league games of the season as well as the UEFA Champions League semi-finals against Atletico Madrid.
According to BBC Sport, however, Arsenal expect the attacker to “play some part” in the run-in, although they are “not placing a definitive timescale on his recovery”.
Havertz’ campaign has been dogged by injury, missing six months after hurting his knee on the opening day of the season against Manchester United. He has only made nine appearances in the Premier League this term.
That was not the only injury blow Arsenal suffered against Newcastle as Eze went down early in the second half. The playmaker had to be replaced by Gabriel Martinelli, but sat on the bench for the rest of the game rather than receive medical treatment in the dressing room, suggesting it’s not a serious problem.
