Arsenal are considering a move to sign Como midfielder Nico Paz next summer and have expressed initial interest.
Paz is on Arsenal’s radar ahead of the 2027 summer window as Mikel Arteta looks to improve his attacking options. The 22-year-old had an influential role in Como’s qualification for the Champions League for the first time, scoring 12 goals and adding six assists in Serie A last season.
He was named Serie A’s Best Midfielder in 2025/26, and was also incldued in the league’s Team of the Season.
The Argentina international was subject of interest from Tottenham Hotspur in 2025, with Spurs having had two bids turned down.
Arsenal are now weighing up a move, according to Bernabeu Digital, but Real Madrid’s buy-back clause could complicate their pursuit.
The Spaniards sold Paz to Como in the summer for a reported fee of €66m (£56.6m), but retain an €80m (£68.6m) buy-back option that can be activated at the end of the season. Real opted against brining Paz back to the club last summer but continue to monitor his progress in Italy.
