Arsenal are believed to be closing in on the club record signing of Alexandre Lacazette.
The Gunners have been looking to bring in Lacazette for a number of years, but it finally seems as though they will get their man.
Reports from Telefoot in France claim that the striker will complete a €53m (£46m) transfer to Arsenal, signing a five-year contract at the Emirates.
Lyon have claimed that they would not sell Lacazette unless they sign a suitable replacement for the striker who scored 37 goals last season, including 28 in 30 Ligue 1 appearances.
However, during the last week, the French club have signed two new strikers, opening up the possibility of Lacazette’s departure.
Lyon have signed Bertrand Traore from Chelsea, while also completing an €8m deal for Real Madrid striker Mariano Diaz.

Lacazettes move to Arsenal could open up the possibility of Alexis Sanchez and/or Olivier Giroud leaving the club. Sanchez has been linked to Manchester City and Bayern Munich, while Giroud has been linked to Everton, West Ham and Marseille.
