Arsenal, Chelsea and Man Utd to battle for £85m striker

Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United will all be involved in an £85m battle for Torino striker Andrea Belotti according to Sundays newspapers.

Chelsea and Manchester United have both been linked with a £100m world record move for Everton’s Romelu Lukaku, while Manchester United have also been linked with a move for Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann.

However, both clubs, along with FA Cup winners Arsenal, are all thought to be interested in Torino striker Andrea Belotti.

The International Business Times claim that Manchester United will try to lure Belotti to play with Griezmann at Old Trafford, with both players having a €100m (£85m) release clause in their respective contracts.

The Italian striker who scored 25 goals in 34 Serie A appearances this season would lead the line for Manchester United, with Griezmann playing in behind.

However, the Sun on Sunday claim that Arsenal and Chelsea are leading the chase to sign the 23-year-old Torino striker.

Arsenal saw a £56m move for the striker rejected back in January, while Chelsea see him as a realistic alternative to Everton striker and top target Romelu Lukaku.

Will Belotti move to the Premier League? Where would he be best suited? Is he worth £85m? Leave us a comment below.
